# Properties

Check the properties of the file/folder/project. 

Click the file/folder/project you want to view in the project explorer on the left layout of goormIDE and go to **\[File] > \[Properties]**, or right-click and click the **\[Properties]** menu. 

You can check the properties of the file/folder/project in the pop-up window that appears.

Or you can view the project's properties by clicking **\[Project] > \[Properties]**.
